A touch of Italy.

We have been perfecting our little piece of Italy here in Tulum for almost 20 years. As with everything else here, tradition guides the care we take with every element of the dining experience. Our pasta is made from scratch the moment you order, no sooner. The creation of pizza oven and dough recipe were overseen by true Italian craftsmen. The recipes for our homemade gelatos are also traditional, with some flavors inspired by our local environment. Our mixologists fashion their cocktails using ingredients that are hand-crafted on-site such as syrups, bitters and even ginger beer. And finally, we used our Sommelier’s extensive travels and research to create our own edition of a Mexican classic: Mezcal. We love to welcome back our guests, who have become a part of our family, time and time again. In addition to the legendary restaurant, we offer several other options for our guests to choose from.


Posada Margherita Ristorante

You can take a man out of Italy, but you can’t take Italy out of the man. And such is the case with our restaurant. The menu features recipes passed down from our grandmother’s kitchen in Genoa. Always made to order, we have blended traditional Italian fare with sustainable local ingredients such as seafood from our local fishermen and organic vegetables grown in the Yucatan Peninsula. Naturally our focaccia is made fresh daily in house. Nonna wouldn’t have it any other way.

A good wine almost always accompanies a good meal in Italy, and Ever, our sommelier, shepherds an ever-changing list of Italian wines that are thoughtfully selected to complement our menu. We also feature hand-crafted cocktails that are perfect for savoring in our seaside space.

As the final treat, our gelato is made in-house and feature a variety of natural flavors including coconut from our own palm trees.

The beckoning aroma of our pizzeria is unmistakable. And while pizza is known the world over, traditional Italian Pizza is something special and is taken seriously here. An expert on the craft was brought in to design the oven according to tradition. And since it all starts with the dough, this craftsman also assisted with replicating the authentic dough to ensure that the flavor and texture were not impacted by the heat and humidity of Tulum. The result is an authentic Italian experience on the shore in Tulum. Enjoy our open air-terrace or take your pizza to go. Our homemade gelato is also available here.


Beach Bar

While Italian tradition guides much of our experience, the beach bar is inspired by the Caribbean, Mexico, and Tulum. Savor one of our wide variety of regional artisanal beers while enjoying the sound of the waves from the beach. We make our own syrups, bitters, ginger beer and hibiscus salt in house for our mixology program. We make our own line of mezcals; please ask us about arranging a tasting. This is one of the only places in Tulum you can experience our award-winning Nakawe Mezcal.


Juice Bar

Our corner of Mexico is blessed with an abundance of fresh, local and organic fruits and vegetables. We craft them into juices which will replenish and restore your body. While we are confident we have a juice for everyone, both locals and our guests have declared our Green Juice their favorite!
